2024 G4C Festival Wrap-Up: Innovation, Impact, and Inspiration! 🎮

That’s a wrap on #G4C2024!🎉 🥳

This year, we explored "The 2030 Marker: A Catalyst for Global Change," inspired by the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. The Festival brought together over 150 speakers from 12 countries, ranging from game developers to United Nations leaders, to delve into the transformative power of games and immersive media. The Festival inspired and brought together over 2,000 in-person and virtual attendees from around the world, showcasing significant growth and reinforcing the positive impact games can have on our future. This year we:

  • 🎙️ Hosted 65 talks, panels, and workshops

  • 💬 Facilitated over 200 meetings through the G4C App fostering valuable connections.

  • 🏆️ Celebrated outstanding projects at the G4C Awards Ceremony, and honored Twitch, Minecraft, Venba, and Alyssa Sweetman for their contributions to the games industry

  •  🕹️ Announced winners of the Diverse Voices, New Stories Challenge, and launched the 3rd year of the program

  • 🌟 Welcomed Anjali Bhimani as our first G4C Ambassador to champion the power of games around the world.

  •  📱 Launched our official G4C TikTok account!
