February at G4C: Early Bird Tickets, Deadline Extensions, and Roblox Partnership
Happy February, G4C Community! Let's jump into this month’s updates. G4C2026 has exciting news: early bird tickets are now available, and the deadline for speaker and award submissions has been extended! G4C and Roblox are coming together for a new Design Challenge. Plus, honor Black History Month by checking out our spotlighted games and festival talks by Black creators.

Join us July 21-22 for the G4C2026 Festival, as we celebrate this year’s theme, Reimagining Play, at our new venue, The Glasshouse in NYC! We’re excited to share a space with our community of industry experts, developers, educators, and changemakers as we explore play as an evolving force in understanding complex challenges, developing new perspectives, and innovating solutions.

The deadline to submit speaker proposals for the 2026 Games for Change Festival has been extended!
We're seeking session proposals from creators, educators, and innovators exploring how play drives learning, creativity, and social change, as well as game and immersive experience submissions across categories including education, civic engagement, health, climate action, and XR.
If your work explores how playful and immersive experiences help us learn, imagine new possibilities, and build toward a more equitable future, we'd love to hear from you!
Bring your work to G4C2026:

As the boundaries between real life and online life continue to blur for today's youth, digital interactions have real effects on wellbeing.
Which is why we’re excited to announce that Games for Change and Roblox are partnering to launch the Encouraging Positive Connection and Wellbeing Design Challenge!
We're calling on developers to create Roblox games that enable players of all ages to learn and practice skills that foster positive communities, improve mental health, or help safeguard against online risks.
Winners will share $25,000 in prize money, receive mentorship from the Roblox team, and showcase their games at the 2026 G4C Festival in NYC (July 21-22).
The challenge is open to developers 18 and older who create games on the Roblox platform. Submissions close April 17, 2026! 🕹️✨
